Great presentation tonight. It makes me feel more confident that since the last meeting I am now understanding everything that was covered.

Really digging the right-click “verifyTextPresent” in Selenium IDE — it makes things a lot easier for those of us who are just picking up ruby while newly integrating automation for cross-browser tests. Juggling at its finest.

This is the first time in about two years that I was forced to purchase a hard copy book because the publishers failed to digitally distribute the goods.

I am enjoying the concept of modern.ie after having tried it out today but found that css3 “border-radius” styles are not being identified as a compatibility issue although it’s a known fact that it doesn’t function under IE9. I guess there’s a reason that it’s still in beta :)
Despite this I feel that there’s a lot of potential and it will make reviewing modern html5 sites against IE a lot easier as opposed to manually reviewing the site across 7, 8, and 9 to identify UI issues.

I’ve been using Evernote lately for maintaining cross-platform notes.
I found a few of these gems yesterday.
Here’s a little background: My company had found a way to incorporate gamification with accomplishing tasks such as a personal idea being implemented or in this instance completing Salesforce CRM courses.
Similar to foursquare and codecademy badges were utilized.
